Gareth Moment

Gareth is so active lately. No TV for him for almost 3 weeks so that he can practice his speech more. He is now responsive and trying so hard to speak. He is somewhat delayed in speech due to his TV time. He spends so much time watching TV and its affecting his speech.

So as a therapy we need to talk to him frequently and let him read photo books and so far its effective.

Gareth is Sick

For two days, we have sleepless nights. I can't focus on my work because I know that he is not feeling well. He vomits and had high fever.

Today he is not so hot anymore but he still has fever and I hope that he will be better soon.

Pray for his fast recovery please...

All About Gareth

Gareth grows so fast. He is a quite type. He seldom talk but if he does it really makes sense. He is not sociable maybe because he is not surrounded by kids.

Next month, I will enroll him in Gymboree to prepare him to attend school. This will also help him to mingle with kids.

He loves cars and we are collecting different cars but it won't last a week. Lahat yon sira na. grrr He also like reading books. I think it's about time to start collecting books and my favorite site is Amazon. I will be purchasing more books for him and educational toys.

I am so happy to have him. :)

This is Gareth new fave. We had a fight because he wanted more.

Gareth Hair Cut Day

This is where Gareth usually has his hair cut. Php. 250/cut. After the hair cut he got a little car as a gift!! See you next time!

All About Gareth

Mood: Proud

Since I am so busy lately I don't have an update about Gareth. Well, he is now so active and trying to be independent sometimes. He is the boss in the house and we are trying so hard not to spoil him. He loves going out but we try to control it. He love fudgee bar and gravy from Jollibee. We attended mass today then ate at jollibee and for the first time he is not seating in the high chair anymore. After eating at jollibee he asked for milk and water. Then we went to barber shop but it's all close and postpone his haircut day instead we went to Shopwise for his milk. On our way going home he fall asleep, he was so tired.

Random...

I only have one active task for today and I am looking forward receiving new tasks or get a new client this week. As a freelancer there are times that I have more task and dry moments so it is very important to save. I think it’s about time to learn something new so that I can find a job with a higher pay. I am still saving for it since taking up short course is also expensive.

Anyway, Gareth has diarrhea since yesterday and I am monitoring his food intake. He is still super active and as if he is not experiencing diarrhea but I am still so worried because this happen before and I hope he will feel better soon.

Your Baby Can Read

I saw a video tutorial on how to teach our baby to read. It amazed me that a less than a year baby can read. So I checked the video but it's pricey so I checked for other options. My husband finally downloaded the complete set of the video and this time we are excited to share it to Gareth. As we watched it, I realized that I should give more attention to Gareth and guide him all the way to achieve our goal. We wanted him to start reading at the age of 3 and we hope to achieve it.

I am excited to become a teacher now... and I hope that Gareth will participate. whew!

Relieved

Finally we are home...

Gareth is now fine.. he started taking solid foods and start playing too.

For two days stay in the hospital I feel so restless because almost every hour the nurses are checking Gareth and he is afraid of the nurses.

While I am writing this blog, Gareth is sleeping and I hope that he will regain his strength so that he can start playing tomorrow.

I have to continue working now eventhough I am sleepy and tired because I need to finish the task given to me.

Health Update

We are still here in Unciano Medical Hospital and Gareth is still under observation. He started to eat and his poop is not quite normal yet so we need to stay until tomorrow and hopefully he will be okay. He hates everytime the nurses check on him. His IV was removed because the fluids can't flow so he has to take more fluids tonight.

I continue working while we are here in the hospital. I am using my phone as a modem because I know I can't stop working because I need to meet deadlines. I am also thankful that my husband is helping me taking care of Gareth.

Quick Post

We are in the hospital now...

Gareth is vomiting and loose bowel movement. He has slight fever and cannot take solid food. I was so worried this afternoon and decided to bring him to the hospital because I don't want to risk the health of my baby. I hope he will get well soon... I miss his smiles and super hyper moves.

Happy 2nd Birthday Gareth

Last night we waited for 12am to start greeting Gareth. He was awake the whole night or we let him stay awake until 12a.m.

I ordered a strawberry shortcake from Mrs. Yulo. My husband pick up the cake at Forbes and it is the best cake I ever tasted. I even forgot that I am on diet.

First Time

Today is Gareth first time to watch movie. We watch Madagascar 2 at SM Megamall. He loves cartoons and when we found out that it is already showing we immediately plan this event. He was laughing all the time and I was surprise because he don't have tantrums inside the movie house. As a mom I am happy that my son appreciates it.













Toy Kingdom at SM Megamall offers 70% sales to some items and we can't help but bought some toys.

When I offer something to Gareth he was not interested but when I gave Piglet to him, he immediately hug it and never put it down.















We also bought some Christmas presents for my siblings.

Christmas is stressful yet a very happy season and my favorite season of the year.

The Kiss

I've been teaching Gareth on how to kiss. He knows how to kiss his teady bears so I started teaching him to kiss us but it seems that he was not yet ready. Until today while I am working he surprised me... he kiss me and it melts my heart. I wish I can capture it and post the actual picture.

I feel so lucky to be with him everyday because I can witness his developments. I am so proud of him and excited to witness more...

Bonding Time

Yesterday we decided to have a break for at least 2 hours. It was too hot and we spent our afternoon in the clubhouse for our swimming session. I love to swim and I am teaching Gareth the basic of swimming. I am so happy that he is now learning and not afraid of the water. He was so excited when he saw the pool. He wanted to jump but of course we stop him because we need to remove his diaper first.

It was a great bonding time for us... a perfect family moment...
