I am missing someone now...

Storm Ondoy Hits Metro Manila and Rizal

For 2 days wala kaming ilaw, internet at cellphone signal. Early saturday morning sobrang lakas na ng ulan at ang lamig lamig pa. ang lakas din ng hangin. Paggising ko wala ng kuryente at wala na rin akong signal. Parang dalawang araw kaming naghihintay na magkaroon ng kuryente kasi hindi ko na alam kung ano ang nangyayari sa paligid ko.

Dahil nasa sa mataas na lugar kami nakatira, kaya hindi ko alam na sobrang baha na pala ang naranasan ng iba. After 2 days at nagkaroon na rin ng ilaw at eto nakapagbukas na ako ng internet nashock ako sa nakita ko. Sobrang naawa talaga ako sa mga naging biktima. Hindi ko alam kung gaano sila nahirapan ngayon. I am praying for them. :(

Sa 2 days na wala akong internet at kuryente feeling ko nawala ako saglit sa mundo. Ang sarap ng naging tulog ko kasama ang aking anak at asawa, na wala man lang kaming kamuwang muwang sa mga nangyayari.

I immediately checked my friends and relatives, at mabuti na lang at safe sila. Ganon pa man, nakikiramay kami sa mga taong naapektuhan.

Sana hindi na to mauulit pa. Sana po...

Ano na?

Ayan hindi na naman ako masyadong nakapag update dito. Busy lang talaga sa work. We had new projects na kailangang matapos pero eto parang malayo pa sa ending. Hindi ko pa naumpisahan yong isa kong article at sa totoo lang wala akong ganang gawin. Ang gulo kasi ng client at eto pa gusto pa nyang may contract kami. kaya habang wala pa ang contract hindi ko muna ginagawa. May isa pa akong research task at ito ang inuuna ko ngayon kasi dapat maayos na to bago matapos ang Sept. o diba.. walang tulugan na naman to.

About sa store ko, every week meron kaming new designs. For this coming Halloween meron din kaming new designs for kids. :D Limited lang yong ma print namin kaya kung gusto nyo kumuha na kayo agad. We will be releasing the designs mid of October. :)

Busy Again?

Finally I have 3 new clients. :D So maybe I'll be busy again. Aside from that we have so many things to do. I need to buy items for my store and we have new designs coming in so we have to print it out.

We have upcoming orders of 2000 shirts so we will be very busy in the coming days. I am still waiting of my items and I can't wait to place it in my online store and in my physical store.

Working History

If you are wondering how I started my career then I would like to share some of it today. I started working young. After I graduated high school, I started working right away to help my family. I was a full scholar in high school and learn different skills and attitudes towards works and life in general. I am so thankful that I learn values that guided me to face life's trials.

Here's the list:

1. Garments Factory as sewer - I can't even finished a single item for a day so I ended up asking help from the expert. I called them "tita" because I was the youngest in the group.

2. Pharmacy Agent - I became aware about different medicines and amazed why those high school boys kept on buying condoms.

3. Student Assistant - Freshman, my salary goes to my tuition fees. I survived because of this job. I even worked over time at night if we have urgent tasks and I enjoyed the freebies from the company. I learned more about basic software and graphics designing.

4. Electronics Factory Worker - I was looking for a full time worked and the only job available was in electronics factory and I received basic pay. I decided to apply and the whole hiring process was one day and I was so glad I was hired. I felt so lucky then! :D

5. Multi Level Marketing - Here I learned how to mingle with people. I learned how to approach and handle a team. I became a supervisor but due to my health I stopped working. So stressful for me.

6. Enchanted Kingdom Agent - I applied here just for fun. I stayed for less than a year. I realized how hard working in a store because you need to stand up for the whole 8 hours.

That's it!! :D Whatever I am today that is because of my challenging past. :)

Rainy Saturday

I thought it's Sunday today... but it's really Saturday. It's a very calm Saturday for me. I don't have a task to do. I woke up late and look for new job opening and sent my cover letter to a post I think I am capable.

It's raining the whole day and it's a bed weather. I love to sleep but I am not sleepy. I have full of energy today so I am replying to my clients queries and start promoting the business.

I am just happy that hubby is busy doing his tasks. By the times like this that I am not busy I am quite secure because I know that hubby has projects to do and in some way I know that our finances is not that affected. But I know that I should have a regular tasks soon or else I don't have extra money.

I had interviews everyday but I am still waiting that they will officially hire me. I just here waiting and I know that soon I will be busy again. So I am taking this opportunity to update my blog as possible.

Surprise...

Hubby surprised me when he purchased a unit in Le Grand.

My Sunday

I just finished working my online project. For the past 2 weeks I was so busy. Every other day I am visiting my store in Dampa sa Libis. I need to check the stocks and sales. I am also checking the items needed and processing orders. I am quite busy lately but I am enjoying it. I am still working online and still looking for more projects.

It's a rainy weekend so I decided to stay at home and just finished all my tasks. I am also hoping to have a new online project soon because right now I don't have a full time task. I missed working full time online.

I hope the projects will start soon. Wish me luck!!

My Career

I am working online for 2 years and so far I am happy and contented. Today I am one of the top Virtual Assistants in oDesk and so happy for it.
